Our Lock Bit Receiver Heads have the unique capability to retract to accept a screw or nut and extend to a middle position to stabilize the screw or nut in the receiver. This will give the screw stability in the receiver and combine the ability for the push-to-start option. MCI offers standard drive bits or has the engineering experience to custom design a solution for your application. The Lock Bit design can be engineered and integrated to your company’s specified screwdriver; this enables your maintenance staff to use a screwdriver brand they are comfortable servicing.
The Lock Bit design enables a semi-automatic solution for the operator with a slim, ergonomic design that can be incorporated with a torque arm or balancer. Pistol-style devices with trigger actuators are also available for horizontal applications.
